Our Teachers

Meet Miss Angie

Music Together® teachers come from all sorts of backgrounds, but they’re united by a common passion: Sharing music with children and families in their community!

All teachers have successfully completed the Music Together Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.

Miss Angie Biehl is a native Montanan who was born in Lewistown and grew up all over Montana including Utica, Judith Gap, Harlowton, Helena, and Missoula. After high school in Helena, she travelled to 26 of the United States, India, and Africa with a music ministry. She then attended the University of Montana in Missoula where she received her Bachelors degree in Music Education. After teaching private lessons and workshops in many rural schools, Angie then attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where she received her Masters degree in Percussion Performance. After teaching more and performing in a number of different bands and music ensembles, she then discovered the world of music therapy which perfectly combined her love of music with her passion for sharing the power of music with everyone! Angie received her second Masters degree in Music Therapy from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. After completing her clinical internship, Angie became a Board Certified Music Therapist in 2014 and has since practiced in many different settings including hospital, NICU, hospice, mental health, older adult programs including assisted living and skilled nursing, private practice, early childhood education, and with developmental, physical and cognitive disabilities

When Angie discovered Music Together, she was elated to find a program that brought the joy and magic of music to children and families outside of the formal classroom setting. Children learn and grow through immersing themselves in play and experiencing things in the moment. Music Together allows them to do just that through music and alongside their parent(s) or other significant grownups. Angie has taught Mixed Ages Family and Rhythm Kids® classes and has trained to teach Babies as well as Generations classes. When she moved back to the Central Montana area, Angie was excited to become a center director in order to bring Music Together classes to kids and families in this rural community where nothing like it exists.
